Song Of The Weekend: South – “A Place In Displacement”
Every once in a while, you come across a song that just resonates with you. I knew nothing about the band South until iTunes referred me to them based on my preference for another artist. I was immediately taken in by the song “A Place In Displacement.” Besides having a great title, the lyrics and music mesh perfectly. I was also pleased to come across the official video and never get tired of listening to it. Enjoy the weekend!

Lyrics: A Place In Displacement

Wanna hold a vision of tomorrow Understand the truth from the lie Wanted love and craving some attention Where was I when you lost your sight You wear your heart on your sleeve You wear the heart on your… One day through the next we’ll see You might not remember me Memories dissolve with years Age could take the best I fear One day through the next we’ll see You might not remember me Memories dissolve with years Seems that isolation brings us near Gotta find my place in displacement I defy the truth for a lie Capture all the vistas of your own life Face to face alone at the time So wear your hearts on your sleeve You wear the heart on your… One day through the next we’ll see You might not remember me Memories dissolve with years Age could take the best I fear One day through the next we’ll see You might not remember me Memories dissolve with years Seems that isolation brings us near One day through the next we’ll see You might not remember me Memories dissolve with years Age could take the best I fear
