I spent a good part of my early career working with non-profit organizations.  It is a very hard thing to deliver a service that cannot pay for itself but is critical to a well-functioning community. You not only need talent, but also considerable determination, creativity, and grit to get the job done.  I have the utmost respect for non-profit leaders, and the challenges they face.
