Human Resources (HR) Resources

Human Resources (HR), or people as we more commonly refer to them, are a big part of any organization’s success. Without good people in place, business is much harder.  Give me great people with an average plan over a great plan with average people any day.  To have an effective HR management system in place you need the following core systems:

  • Hiring, Firing and Promotion – who you hire, fire and promote
  • Education and Training – how well you train them
  • Performance Management – how you hold them accountable for performance
  • Compensation, Benefits & Rewards – what you pay them and how you incentivize performance
  • Internal Communications – making sure everyone is clear about the above 4 items and any other pressing business issues
